The Play It Forward Sportz Team Sponsorship fund will be presented once a year. The sponsorship will allow the awarded teams to play in EVERY tournament, hosted by Lori Strode, FOR $200 PER TOURNAMENT FOR THE SEASON.  $100 will be added to the tournament donations for that event and submitted to the charity after the tournament. $100 will go towards expenses for the tournament. No actual money will be awarded, but your team will not pay for the registration fee for the event. The tournament director will collect your $200 donation at the event.

We are now taking applications for the current season. All applications must be received by February 1st. Sponsorship winners will be announced during the Superbowl Sweepstakes give-a-way live on Facebook. In order to be considered for this sponsorship, your team must be sanctioned for the current season in Southern Illinois (south of Springfield, IL), Metro East or Southeast Missouri.

Once you have completed the above information please send a short video to [email protected]. The video should not be more than 5 minutes long and should include:

1. Introduction of players and coaches

2. Justification(s) for why your team should receive the Team Sponsorship

3. How this will assist your team and what you plan on doing with the money saved 🙂

Be creative! Extra consideration for videos that include the entire team's participation (players, coaches, parents).
